The volume of exports by Korean small-and-medium-sized companies reached a record high last year thanks to a boom in semiconductors and the popularity of Korean cosmetics.<br />Data by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups shows exports increased eight-percent from a year earlier to 114-point-6-billion U.S. dollars last year,... the second straight year it surpassed the 100-billion-dollar mark. <br />Shipments of manufacturing equipment for semiconductors rose 34 percent on year, while those of cosmetics soared by nearly 28 percent.<br />Cosmetics exports climbed sharply to Russia and Indonesia... as well as China and the U.S. <br />
